Meet Your New
Northwest District President
The installation of the newly elected District President,
Rev. Paul Linnemann, will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2009, at Zion
Lutheran Church, 1015 SW 18th Avenue, Portland, OR, beginning at 3:00
PM. A reception will follow at the District Office located at 1700 NE Knott
Street, Portland, OR from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
Clergy who will be attending are encouraged to bring their
robes and red stoles and participate in the celebration. Special seating will
be designated for clergy.
Parking will be limited for the installation service at
Zion Lutheran Church so we are encouraging use of Portland’s light rail system
(MAX) as the best form of transportation. Zion Lutheran Church is located at
the Kings Hill Station which is the stop before/after PGE Park – depending on
which direction you are coming from.
