Mission Training Center
The Northwest District Mission Training Center offers courses throughout the year in partnership with Concordia
University, Portland, OR and Mission Training Center, NY. Many of the same courses
are available to local congregations to be taught/facilitated by their

2011-2012 Mission Training
Center Course Schedule
Courses are $225. These online courses are open to all
Christians. Mission Training Center admits students of any race, color,
and national or ethnic origin. A minimum of 6 students must register
for a course prior to Session 1 in order for the course to proceed.
Courses may be taken for college credit through Concordia College, New
York or Concordia University, Portland for $575.

Are you a lay
leader who prepares and plans for worship or who could use help with
sermons or would like to lead a Bible study which focuses on the Sunday
readings? Please ask about “Sunday’s Sermon” - a weekly resource which
provides you with a commentary on the readings for each Sunday as well
as sermon ideas and Law/Gospel based discussion of the texts. This
resource has the option of joining a live online discussion each Tuesday
6-8pm Pacific Time. Email

Courses

passwords will be emailed to each enrolled student before class begins.
Saturday courses are 8am - 1 pm Pacific Time. Course fee is $225 with
financial aid available when your congregation helps pay fees.
