The Vietnamese congregation at Holy Cross Lutheran in Portland, Oregon is alive and growing! Pastor Van Phan completed colloquy in Summer 2004 after an intensive two year study under the mentorship of Pastor Butch Olsen.  The Ordination service was living proof of the success of this dual ministry as hymns were sung in Vietnamese and English - simultaneously! The two Pastors have become great partners in ministry that is benefiting both “congregations” at Holy Cross and the surrounding community.
