Expanding Ministries >> Partner Registration Tracking the Spirit -- Ablaze Partner Form   Tracking the Spirit is Ablaze with Northwest District clothing according to Synod’s Groups Ablaze office. Both efforts began in partnership over three years ago. Prior to that, the NOW District had been developing a ministry plan based on the true business of the church – the Great Commission. Over three years ago leaders from the Northwest District (NOW) invited Synod representatives and others to prayerfully consider where God was leading. A core team was formed which included NOW District, Synod, and Center for US Missions representatives. Tracking the Spirit took flight. At the same time, Synod was moving toward the effort that is now Ablaze. This “Coalition of Encouragement” had been nothing short of awesome. As of June 15, 2005 we have reports of 56,342 Gospel seeds planted through the people in the NOW District. Over 90 congregations have joined in Tracking the Spirit Discovery sessions and have begun to pray daily for others in their lives who need to know Jesus as their Savior; share in the confidence that the Holy Spirit has tendered hearts in preparation to hear and will give the words to say; form outreach/interest groups with the purpose of creating trust relationships toward sharing the Gospel; and much more. Over 5,000 have attended in-depth sessions focusing on sharing the Gospel message through “seed” planting.
