I
was a recipient this summer of an Oregon District LWML grant, “Go Share Jesus,”
to fund my servant event to Fisher River, Manitoba, where I served the First
Nation children in an Ojibwe-Cree village on the banks of Lake Winnipeg, four
hours north of Winnipeg.
I
and two volunteers, Stephanie from Mass. and Karla from Illinois, delivered a
five-day program of VBS, “Under God’s Rainbow,” on behalf of Lutheran
Missionaries & Pilots, LAMP, (for which I serve as Exec. Secretary,and a field
