This last fall a family from Tanacross asked me to visit a relative of theirs who had been admitted at the Native Hospital. Tanacross is not in our area but is actually on the Canadian side of Alaska, about 100 miles inside the border of Alaska. We have a lay minister from Delta Junction who holds services in Tanacross every Sunday. Bruce Grossman drives over 100 miles each way to conduct these services every Sunday at his own expense. When Bruce called me, he told me the interesting fact that, in the village they don't all know my name, but they refer to me as "that guy". Please have 'that guy' go visit my relative in the hospital." . . .  Although this information is from the beginning of this ministry, it gives a flavor of the vastness of this mission field.
