CPE Scholarship Request

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for a CPE tuition Scholarship, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

·         Current membership in good standing in an LCMS congregation.

·         Acceptance into an ACPE CPE program within the Northwest District of the LCMS.  (Application for this scholarship can be made prior to acceptance at a CPE site.  Once approval is made and supporting documentation is received by the NWD, i.e. an acceptance letter from the CPE site, a tuition payment can be made as needed.)

·         A stated intention to use the CPE experience to enhance one’s ministry as an LCMS church worker or layperson.  (See the “Career Goals” section below.)

Continuing Education Scholarship Request

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for a Continuing Education / Seminar Scholarship, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

·         The applicant must be a professional church worker, vicar, or recognized intern serving in the Northwest District of the LCMS.

·         The continuing education opportunity must pertain to an aspect of chaplaincy ministry; i.e. corrections, police, fire, hospital, care center, disaster response, etc.
